Last night, I had dinner with my first flight instructor. He is just about to start flying jets for the airlines and if you are on one of his flights, you are very lucky. He is an amazing pilot. He’s also a great person. His parents definitely raised him right. We had a great time and I am very glad that he is going to be able to do my commercial and CFI training.

There are so many people that you meet in aviation. Not all of them are great, but some of them are. So to the truly great ones out there, on behalf of all the middle aged women who had some hare-brained idea that they were going to learn to fly, thank you. And especially to Chris, I can never repay what you did for me. To my favorite CFI from your favorite student, thank you from the bottom of my heart to the tips of my wings!
