Spring has flown by here in Northern Colorado. It has been a spring of unpredictable weather and not a lot of flying (well, except the time, but we already covered that). But we are settling into summer with mild early mornings and I am well into another new project.
Coming soon so a bookstore near you are the study aids I wanted when I was prepping for my check rides. They will be accompanied by other fun products at my new storefront at heyimapilot.com (not live yet – look for that in the future). The private pilot checkride book is nearly done and the initial reviews are really good!
In the meantime, I am switching my law practice over to mediation and finishing up my CFI training. It’s a whole new me. Or at least it will be.After 25 years arguing in front of juries, it is time to step back. This is a transition that has been going on for a while now. It should be complete by Oshkosh.
And speaking of Oshkosh, it’s only 8 weeks away! I am ready to go today. Van’s will be there, fresh out of bankruptcy and going strong. Their journey has been a good one through all of this. They have done a remarkable job of owning their mistakes and fixing them. I am happy to be part of the best club of kit builders on the planet.
