Because of the Chapter 11 filing at Van’s, this morning, I had to reorder my wings and fuselage. You know, the ones I ordered almost two years ago. I always knew this project was going to take a long time. But I did not factor in the delays and then the bankruptcy at the manufacturer. The time is going to pass whether I work on this plane or not and I guess in reality, they are giving me an excuse for being slow. So should I actually be thanking them?

My original goal was to fly the plane to Oshkosh 2026. That is not going to happen at this point. I am not setting a new goal until I have a better idea about when I will finally be getting the rest of the airplane parts.

For now, I should probably focus on the parts I do have. And buy myself some new tools for Christmas.
